About the Artist

< Previous

My full time job is creating original paintings,

from which, I produce, / Giclee Prints  of various sizes, also / Note Cards, and Posters.

With a so called body of work, I present my art for the world to see, and be inspired.

As a self taught artist, I paint many different subjects,
Eg. When I am in the mood,
I may produce an abstract, or a landscape, or, a still life,
even a portrait.

Because of my special gift of painting / talents, / I am able to meet the occassion.

I have never tried painting murals, / how ever because I am deeply impressed, by the murals of
Marlena Yorokova,
a great modern Artist, / - I am thinking about the possibilities.

When ever my art goes on display, / exhibit, /  my aim is not of seeking approval, / Do you think my art is good,
and so on. /
but to entertain, / to add to human culture.
To inspire the viewer to embrace Life,
in all its beautiful, colorful splendor.

There are some who say, you are a black man, but your art does not reflect on your ethnic culture,

to those I say this, /--- " I was born black, and will someday die, still black,
but Today, / -------------"I am an Artist / Painter Period." /

At the finish of a new painting, / especially the abstract ones,
I do, / turn a painting on all four sides.
I don't believe in / Art Manifestos, and old time ideas, which try to write / Limits upon Free expression. /
To all artists I say, / " Just paint, paint, paint, and don't worry about / getting on board the train of expectancy, /
Where every new work you do, should resemble the last one you did. /

Such thinking, are in / the past tense mood. /
An artist whose creativity knows no limits, / can create an abstract today, / a landscape tomorrow, /
a still life two weeks from now,  / and even a portrait when ever the inspiration comes. /

Such abilities dosen't mean, / that an artists lacks / focus in their art works, /
in fact it is because that the artist is / focused,  / that they're able to express themselves / Freely.
